First, the experimental design and implementation methods
1, test pool and stocking mode.
Green shrimp test pool in Yixing Xinjiezhen fishery. In 1998, the experimental pool area was 4 mu and the control pond was 3.5 mu, and the fish pond conditions were basically the same. The experimental pool was stocked with 100,000 shrimp and 50,000 shrimp from the control pond. The conventional fish breeding test pool is located in the electric instrument farm of Mashan District. In 1998 and 1999, the test pool area was 19 mu and the control pool was 16 mu. The test pond averaged 183.7 kg of grass carp and 84.5 kg of fish. 46%. The control pools were stocked with 178 kg of same-species fish of the same specifications, and 87.9 kg of fish were eaten, accounting for 49.4%.
2. The application method of EM in the shrimp test pool is simultaneous use of manure fermentation, pool water spillage and EM fermentation self-contained feed.
10 days before the stocking of shrimp, 500 kg of EM fermentation basal fertilizer was produced. The fermentation method was to use a mixture of semi-dry wet pig manure, natural water, EM and brown sugar at a ratio of 500:50:1:1 to seal the mixture and seal it with a plastic film for 7 days. Put shrimp pond as base fertilizer. Two days before stocking, Quanchiposa EM 4 kg will be splashed before making EM fermentation broth by EM, brown sugar and water in the ratio of 1:1:(20-30). The brown sugar will be melted with warm boiled water first, then natural water will be added. EM mixes and seals the ferment for 24 hours, dilutes with the well water or the pool water more than 500 times above Quanchiposa. On the 5th of July, the shrimps were stocked, and on the 20th of July, the 2nd splash of EM 3 kg was carried out. Since the peanuts grew vigorously in the later period, the water quality was relatively clear, and the EM was not splashed until the catch. On September 30, the main EM fermented feed was fed. Its formula is: 40% of green barley, 15% of wheat flour, 30% of vegetable barn, and 15% of fish meal. EM fermented material is prepared by using EM as a diluent (fermentation time is 2 hours), feed, EM, brown sugar, and natural water in a ratio of 500:1:1:(150-200). 20-24 hours, usually in the afternoon 4-5 pm mix feed in plastic basins or plastic bags in snake skins, hand compaction, covered with newspaper (skin bag open bag mouth) placed indoors cool place . On the second day, 90% of the time is fed with 30%, and the remaining 70% will be fed at about 6 o'clock in the afternoon. During fermentation, the temperature will be controlled within 40 degrees Celsius, and the maximum will not exceed 45 degrees centigrade. The trial period was from July 3 to September 30, 1998, and the whole process lasted for 90 days. In the second year due to flooding, the trial failed to proceed as planned.
3. The EM application method for conventional fish ponds is to use pool water spillage and EM fermentation self-feeding improved method.
The pool water spills are sprinkled twice in the whole pool in early May and late July. The amount of mu is 1 kg. The actual formula of the first year of EM fermented feed was: 78% of cake, 10% of barley, 10% of dry chicken manure, 2% of zeolite powder (dry chicken manure was not used in the control pool). The use time of the self-contained fermentation material is: the first year of 10 mu of the test pool from the whole process of April 15, 1998 to September 20, 159 days, the second year of 9 acres of the test pool from June 8 to September 6 The whole process is 101 years. Other times are fed conventional feed. Both the pool water spillage and the feed fermentation method are the same as those used for the green shrimp test.
Second, EM test results of water quality improvement
In 1999, the water quality of the conventional fish pond test and control pools at the E-meter farm was tested. On July 28th, 1 kg of EM was used to spatter the test pool. After pouring, the water samples were taken every other week (one week in the middle) and the water sampling time was 10:00 am. From the splash of EM to the last test, it was 35 days. Test water quality test box, the accuracy rate of 90%. The test results show:
After splashing EM, there was no significant change in the pH value and the transparency was improved. Dissolved oxygen increased by an average of 48% within 35 days. In the best period of two weeks after the EM spill, the dissolved oxygen in the test tank increased by 75% compared to the control tank. This is consistent with the fact that many users reported that water quality was best at 15 days. Ammonia decreased by an average of 57%, and the maximum reduction was in the later period. The 35-day test pool was only one-sixth of the control pool.
Third, the harvest
1, the shrimp shrimp and control pond harvest conditions.
The average yield per mu in the test pool increased by 15.9 kg compared with the control pool, an increase of 46%. The output of commodity shrimp per mu was increased by nearly 1 time compared with the comparison pool, the commodity rate reached 74.5%, and the specifications were large, the selling price was high, and the commodity rate in the winter and control pool was 54.5%, and the specifications were small and the selling price was low.
2. Harvesting of conventional fish breeding test and control ponds.
The average net production per mu in the test pool was 61 kg higher than the control pond, an increase of 13.5%, while the average net production of the fish per mu increased by 65.3 kg, an increase of 25.9%. The net increase in meat was 0.79 higher than the control pool. After the application was deleted, the relatively clear water quality did not promote the growth of carp.
IV. Economic Benefits after Applying EM
1. After deducting the cost of materialization and pond rent, the net production value of the 4 mu experimental pool is 5,036.96 yuan, and the average mu is 1259.4 yuan; the net production value of the 3.5 mu control pond is 2,175 yuan, and the average mu is 621.42 yuan. The experimental pool is higher than the control pond. The net output value was 638 yuan, an increase of 103%.
The net production value of 2,19 mu conventional fish test pool is 20374.90 yuan, mu is 1072.36 yuan, the net production value of 16 mu control pond is 9,374 yuan, and the average net production value of mu is 585.88 yuan. The average test pond is 486.48 yuan more than that of the comparison pond, an increase of 83%.
3. The ratio of the average input value of the EM input cost per mu to the net increase of the average per mu. In the two-year 23-mu experimental pool, a total of 106.9 kilograms of EM was exposed, amounting to 2138 yuan, 79.4 kilograms of brown sugar, and the amount was 317.60 yuan. The total cost was 2455.60 yuan and the average mu was 106.77 yuan. The test pool increased the net output value by 11792.84 yuan compared with the control pool, and the average increase of mu was 512.73 yuan. The EM input-output ratio was 1:4.8. Among them, the prawn test pool used 14.4 kg of raw EM and 14.4 kg of brown sugar. The total cost was 345.60 yuan, and the average mu was 86.40 yuan. The input-output ratio was 1:7.38. The conventional fish test pool of 19 mu was used for EM crude exposure of 92.5 kg. The brown sugar is 65 kilograms, the total cost is 2110 yuan, and the average mu is 111.05 yuan. The input-output ratio is 1:4.38.
Application of EM in Aquaculture
EM is the English abbreviation of the beneficial micro-organisms, invented by the Japanese University of the Ryukyus than Professor Jia Jiafu. EM can be widely used in crops, aquaculture, environmental protection, human health and other fields. In order to verify the application of EM in open-air aquaculture ponds, we selected the trials of the penaeid and conventional fish rearing ponds in 1998 and 1999. The results of the trials are summarized as follows:
