The albumin (ALB) assay kit is intended for the accurate and direct quantitative measurement of ALB in human plasma.

Test principle

In specific buffer solution, positively charged ALB molecules react with negatively charged BCG molecules, forming the blue-green complex which shows absorption at the wavelength of 600 nm. The absorbance of this complex is proportional to the concentration of ALB.
ALB concentration can be calculated by comparing with the standard solution prepared in the same method mentioned above.
