Farmers' small straw ammoniation treatment and utilization
A certain proportion of ammonia water and urea are added to rice, wheat and corn stalks for treatment, which means ammoniating of straw. Straw ammoniation is the most economical, simple and practical chemical treatment of straw feed. Ammonia can play a role in alkalization, ammoniation, and neutralization of straw, and it can be used to feed ruminants such as cattle and sheep. It can improve the digestibility of straw feed, increase the nutritional value and palatability of straw feed, and generally eat food. The amount increased by 20%, the digestibility increased by 20% to 30%, and the crude protein content of straw increased by more than 1 time. The urea ammoniated straw technology is described below. 1. Ammonification method Farmers prefer to use straw in a concrete tank for aminating small straw. First cut the straw into pieces of 5-10 centimeters, add 4 to 5 kilograms of urea per 100 kilograms of straw, and dissolve the required urea in 40-50 kilograms of water to make a solution and spray it on the straw. Lay a layer, while pressing on the edge, until the pool mouth 30-50 cm, the top is tapered, and finally covered with a thin film, and wet mud seal the interface between the film and the cement pool. To prevent rat damage, cover the membrane with earth pressure. 2. Management of ammoniated straws During ammoniation, it is necessary to check whether the film is broken or not and find that the damage is timely repaired. The duration of ammoniating is closely related to the temperature, which generally takes 2-3 weeks in summer, 3-6 weeks in spring and autumn, and more than 8 weeks in winter. After the ammoniated straw reaches the specified time, the ammoniated quality of the straw should be determined by opening the sealing film. With a sensory inspection, no mildew, yellowish-brown color, odor odor, loose texture, soft, pungent smell of ammonia, good quality can be used as feed. Conversely, if straw is turned gray or brown-black, straw sticks into pieces and there is a pungent odor, you cannot feed. 3. Use of ammoniated feed When taking ammoniated feed, ammoniated straw should be put on the cement floor to release ammonia for 1 day, and it can be fed after unavoidable ammoniating. After each use, it should still be sealed, avoid water. The ammoniated straw feed can also be taken out all at once, spread out to dry, and then piled up in the corner of the free room or barn, covered with film to prevent the sun and rain, how much to take. Using ammoniated straw feed, fine concentrates and green feed can also be added. Such as beef cattle, the daily use of ammoniated straw 6-7 kg, 500 grams of corn flour and rice bran 1000 grams, daily gains of up to 350-500 grams; sheep daily ammoniated straw 3-4 kg, plus Concentrate 300 grams, daily weight up to 150-200 grams.
