Scientists at Waseda University and the Japanese National Defense Medical College have recently developed a "nano-film" for surgery. The researchers repeatedly experimented with dogs. They used a newly developed medical tape on a wound with a pleural diameter of about 6 cm around the lungs of the dog. After one month, the wound healed well. The researchers plan to conduct clinical trials three years later.
