Scientists use drones to clean hospitals: prevent MRSA infections

In 2012, when neuroscientist TED Talker, the inventor of James Kozloski's wife Sumali, worked at a nursing school in Connecticut, Connecticut, it was trying to deal with some hospitals with high infection rates. As the CDC records show, 914 "superbug" methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infections occurred in approximately 80,000 annual cases in Connecticut, compared to Connecticut, Connecticut. More than 35 million people, but in 2012 there were only 728 cases of MRSA infection. For Sumali and her colleagues, this means taking more time from wearing a white coat to cleaning the surface.

The best way to prevent MRSA infection is to keep it clean from hand to clothes.

James has an idea: Is a small drone able to protect the hospital's door handles, countertops and bed rails from MRSA?

After working with scientist, inventor Cliff Pickover, and workplace inventor Tim Lynar from IBM Melbourne Labs and mathematician John Wagner, James submitted the creative and technical details of the drone and was patented and patented. No. 9,447,448, which is an invention of the drone microbiological analysis system.

Drones can purify places we can't see

More than 1 million drones were sold in the United States last year. UAVs can be used as military tools or publicly, and drones are almost as fast as infectious diseases in hospitals. James envisions a small drone that can fly into a hospital ward for scanning analysis and, if needed, to clean the surface of the patient before the patient enters the ward.

Cliff said that "the drone is suitable for places that are difficult for cleaning personnel to reach, and can even remember where it needs to be cleaned, such as the top of a showcase, or can be cleaned in a limited space. Our drone system can rely on cognitive capabilities. Understand which surfaces are more likely to accumulate specific microorganisms in order to advise hospital staff and perform sterilization procedures"
