Because the time and dose of the rat's mobile phone radiation in the experiment far exceeds the level of normal use of mobile phones, the relevant results cannot be directly extended to humans.

The researchers pointed out that the experimental results can not be directly extended to humans, because experimental animals receive whole body radiation, and when humans use mobile phones, only local tissues are exposed to radiation, and the amount and duration of radiation used in research far exceeds that of humans. .

These experimental animals received different degrees of radiation, and the minimum amount of radiation is equivalent to the highest amount of radiation received by the mobile phone user's local tissue. This radiation level is usually not achieved when using a mobile phone, and the highest radiation dose received by experimental animals is used by mobile phones. The local tissue receives 4 times the highest amount of radiation.

The experimental animals are of two types, rat and mouse. They all live in special cages. The whole body receives radiation. The rest is 10 minutes for every 10 minutes of radiation, and the total radiation time per day is 9 hours. They receive radiation for up to 2 years, which is basically the entire life cycle of experimental animals.

As a result, it was found that there is clear evidence that tumors appear in the heart of irradiated male rats, and there is some evidence that tumors appear in the brain and adrenal glands of male rats. However, for female rats, male and female mice, no clear association between high-dose radiation and cancerous tumors has been found.

The study also found an unexpected finding that the lifespan of irradiated male rats increased, and the researchers believe that the cause may be a decrease in the incidence of chronic kidney disease. Chronic kidney disease often leads to death in aged rats.

This is the final report of a 10-year study, which is the conclusion of the panel's review of the preliminary report released in February this year. Since the 2G and 3G handsets were dominant in the design of this study, this study only analyzed the effects of radiation from these two handsets.
