Technical requirements for boiler forging valves
1. The forging blank should be accompanied by a quality certificate (also known as a quality guarantee). If there is no quality guarantee, it should be supplemented and inspected. Only qualified persons can put into production.
2. Forging billet (refers to the raw material of forged forgings) may be rolled material (such as round steel) or steel ingot. If the forging billet is a rolled material, its surface quality and quality

3. When the steel chain is used for forging, the head and tail defects must be completely removed. Regardless of the forging of steel ingots or rolled materials, the defects affecting the forging quality of the forged blank surface must be completely eliminated.
4. In order to ensure good performance and organization of forgings, when steel ingots are used as forging blanks, there should be sufficient forging ratio.
5. The material and shape and dimensional tolerances of the forgings shall be in accordance with the requirements of the design drawings or technical documents.
6. There should be no defects such as cracks, folds and heavy skin on the surface of the forging. The above defects should be treated as follows.
A defect existing on a non-machined surface shall be removed and the depth of removal shall not exceed the negative deviation of the nominal size at that location.

C Exceeding the specified defects generally does not allow repair welding.
