Lycium potaninii Pqark., also known as Northwestern Yunnan, is a wild fruit tree distributed in northeastern China and Inner Mongolia. It has fruit and medicinal properties and is characterized by cold resistance, drought resistance, early fruiting, and high yield. At present, large fruit-type strains have been selected from wild resources and can be used for wind-proof, sand-fixing or green viewing in addition to artificial large-area cultivation. 1 Hardwood cuttings Hardwood cuttings are carried out in mid-April. Build a fire or electric hotbed before cutting. Before the end of March, combine the winter pruning to obtain the species, cut the species into 15 to 17cm cuttings, soak the base of the cuttings with 150mg/kg naphthaleneacetic acid 5cm at the base for 24 hours, rinse with clean water and insert into the hotbed, spacing 510cm. The cutting depth is 15 to 17cm, and the insert base temperature is maintained at 28 to 30°C. Rooting began 25 days after cutting, and the rooting stage ended 35 to 40 days after insertion. The average rooting rate of cuttings is 85% and the highest is 95%. In the middle and early June, they were moved into the nursery management. When they became seedlings, they could grow vigorously and bear fruit. 2 Twig cuttings Twig cuttings are carried out in late June. Put plastic sheds (or use existing plastic sheds or greenhouses) before the cuttings, shade them with shade nets outside or inside the plastic sheds, so that the light transmittance is about 30% of natural light. In the shed, we made a cutting bed 150 to 200 cm in width and 25 to 30 cm in height. Harvest semi-woody shoots, cut into 10 to 12cm long cuttings, remove the leaves at the base of 5 ~ 6cm, the upper leaves are retained, with rooting powder or naphthalene acetic acid 1000 ~ 2000mg/kg solution, fast cutting inserts at the bottom 5 to 6cm after cutting. Cuttings spacing 510cm, cuttings perpendicular to the bed, cutting depth of 5 ~ 60cm. After cutting, 8 to 16 hours a day, water was sprayed with an eye-opener to keep the cutting blades moist. The relative humidity in the shed was kept above 80% and the temperature was 30-35°C. Cuttings began to take root 20 to 30 days after cutting, and were transplanted to Daejeon 40 days later. The rooting rate of softwood cuttings is about 80%, and the highest is 95%. The survival rate of transplanting can reach 90%.
