Causes of Incomplete Separation of Walking Tractor Clutch

1. The locomotive is parked for a long period of time. The clutch is not used for a long period of time to make it wet and rust. This results in incomplete separation of the clutch. At this time, the clutch should be disassembled to remove rust. 2. The clutch shaft head nut locking plate is locked or damaged, so that the nut loosens out of the mouth, causing the clutch assembly to move outward in the axial direction, destroying the normal clearance between the release bearing and the release bar, and causing the clutch to be separated completely. At this point, the damaged lock should be replaced, the nut tightened and the lock locked. 3. The separation gap between the separation lever and the separation shaft is too large, and the three separation levers are inconsistent with the clearance of the release bearing, resulting in incomplete separation of the clutch. At this time, the clearance between the release lever and the release bearing should be adjusted to O.4 to 0.5 mm, and the three release levers should be kept in line with the clearance of the release bearing. 4. The free stroke of the clutch disengagement handle is too large, resulting in incomplete clutch disengagement. In this case, the sub-handle should be adjusted. The method is: the clutch handle is placed in the "closed" position, the handle pull rod is adjusted, and the separation lever clearance is adjusted to 0.4 to 0.5 mm. 5. The separation claws are worn badly, and there is no guarantee that there should be a stroke during separation, resulting in incomplete separation. Should be replaced at this time from the claws. 6. The driven plate is excessively worn and the rivets are loosened. Foreign matter exists between the friction plate and the driven plate, which reduces the stroke when the driven plate is separated, resulting in incomplete separation. In this case, the rivets should be riveted or replaced. 7. The driven plate is reversed. When the clutch is disengaged, there is no axial movement of the driven plate. The driven disk should be installed correctly. 8. The thickness of the new driven plate replaced exceeds the specification, resulting in reduced separation stroke, insufficient axial movement, and incomplete clutch separation. In this case, replace the driven plate whose thickness meets the requirements. 9. The spline in the driven plate does not fit well with the clutch shaft spline. The axial movement of the driven plate is difficult and the clutch is not completely separated. The spline shaft should be trimmed or replaced at this time. 10. The clutch bearing wears too much, causing axial turbulence, which causes the clearance between the release lever and the release bearing to change, resulting in incomplete clutch separation. In this case, replace the bearing.
