Cobalt-rich foods

Vitamin B12 contains one part per million of cobalt. Once the cobalt is lost, the therapeutic efficacy of vitamin B12 disappears.

Cobalt stimulates the hematopoietic system of the human bone marrow, promotes the synthesis of hemoglobin and increases the number of red blood cells. Most of them take part in the physiological role of the body in the form of vitamin B12. When cobalt and vitamin B 12 are combined into the stomach, they bind to the “inner factors” secreted by the parietal cells to prevent vitamin B 12 from being destroyed by the intestinal microbes and to promote its absorption. Such as the lack of "intrinsic factor" (abdominal resection) can cause malabsorption of vitamin B12, leading to nutritional anemia, the need for injection of vitamin B12, supplemental cobalt salts.

Cobalt has a fat-removing effect, preventing fat deposition in liver cells and preventing fatty liver. Cobalt also promotes the absorption of zinc in the intestine and binds to proteins. It also has important effects on human growth, development, carbohydrate and protein metabolism. Adult daily supply of cobalt is 0.13 micrograms, and pregnant women are 3.0 micrograms. Usually, one day intake of vitamin B12 1 to 2 micrograms can meet the need, too much toxic. Cobalt has a high content in animal organs (kidney, liver, pancreas), and oysters and lean meat also contain a certain amount of cobalt. Fermented bean products such as stinky tofu, red bean curd, soybean meal, and soy sauce all contain a small amount of vitamin B12, which can serve as a food source for cobalt.

Urine Bag

Urine bag, also known as a urine collection bag, a type of medical product used to collect and store urine from a person who is unable to urinate normally, mostly made from transparent PVC films. It is attached to a Foley Catheter that is inserted into the bladder through the urethra.

The urine bag is designed to be worn discreetly and securely, either attached to the patient’s legs or hung from a bed or wheelchair. It has a drainage valve that allows for easy ventilation. The bag also includes features such as anti-reflux valves or filters to prevent urine from flowing back into the bladder and causing infection.

Urine bags are commonly used in hospitals, nursing homes, and home care settings for patients who have urinary retention, urinary incontinence, or are recovering from surgery. They are typically disposable and should be replaced regularly to prevent bacterial growth and infection.
