What is Dasatinib monohydrate?
Dasatinib monohydrate is the pyrimidine and thiazole-derived ANTINEOPLASTIC AGENT and protein kinase inhibitors of the BCR-ABL kinase. Used to treat CHRONIC MYELOID LEUKEMIA patients who are resistant or intolerant to IMATINIB.
BMS-354825 is an SRC family of protein tyrosine kinases for oral bioavailability of synthetic small molecule inhibitors. Dasatinib binds and inhibits the growth promoting activity of these kinases. Obviously, dacotinib has been shown to overcome the resistance of imidamidine to chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) cells containing mutations in the BCR-ABL kinase domain due to its low affinity for BCR-ABL kinase The SRC family of protein tyrosine kinases interact with a variety of cell surface receptors and participate in intracellular signal transduction pathways; tumorigenic forms can be altered by altering the regulation or expression of endogenous proteins as well as by viral-encoded kinase genes.
