At present, the lean meat percentage of local pig breeds in China is only about 41%, and the binary crossbred pigs produced through mating of imported boars with local sows are then produced by mating the binary crossbred sows with foreign boars. Three-way hybrid pigs have lean meat percentages of up to 50% or even over 50%, 10% higher than local pigs, 10% more weight gain, and 5% less feed consumption.
It is best practice for lean-meat pigs to use full-priced compound feeds. The lean meat-type pig requires about 3,100 kcal per kilogram of digestive energy and weighs 20 to 50 kilograms. Crude protein requires 16% and weighs 60 to 90 kilograms. At the stage, only 14% of the crude protein, and lysine, methionine, cystine and other important trace elements and vitamins must be in a certain proportion. In order to facilitate the raising of pigs, “concentrates” specifically produced by feed mills can be used to formulate the following formulas:
1. Pig body weight 10 to 20 kg: 60.2% corn, 4% bran, soybean cake 28%, fishmeal 4%, yeast powder 2%, salt 0.3%, bone meal 0.5%, composite trace element 0.5%, multivitamin 0.5% ;
2. The weight of pigs is 21-35 kg: 63% of corn, 10.2% of bran, 13.5% of bean cake, 6% of rapeseed cake, 5% of fish meal, 0.3% of salt, 1% of bone meal, 0.5% of compound trace elements, multivitamin 0.5%;
3. Pig weight 36-60 kg: 62% corn, 12% wheat bran, 5% bran, 10% soybean meal, 5% rapeseed cake, 3.5% fish meal, 0.5% salt, 1% bone meal, 0.5 micronutrient elements %, multivitamin 0.5%;
4. The weight of the pigs is 61-90 kg: corn 57%, bran 18%, gluten 6%, soybean meal 9%, rapeseed cake 5%, yeast powder 3.3%, salt 0.5%, bone meal 1%, compound trace elements 0.1%.
The “open front” rearing technique using “open front and rear control” refers to the fact that pigs take multiple feeds or eat freely every day before 50 kg of body weight, and the feed is not restricted; after 50 kg, each day In addition to ensuring that there is sufficient drinking water, only two meals are served, and only 80% of all meals are fed, which is the so-called "post-control." Because after 20 kilograms of pigs, fat is mainly deposited and grows faster. If the feed is too full, the pigs will lose more fat and reduce lean meat.
The slaughter market should be tested in a timely manner to prove that, when the pigs weigh 40 to 60 kilograms, the daily growth of lean meat is 288 grams and fat is 280 grams. After this kilogram, there are only 120 grams of lean meat per day, and fat is more than twice as much as lean meat. Therefore, lean-type pigs must be controlled in the 90 ~ 100 kg slaughter market.
