This year, the price of live pigs in our province experienced a price inflection point from the end of February to the end of June. After the end of June, there was a price inflection point. From June 30 to early August, the price of live pigs continued to rise until it reached the point of balance of live pigs' profit and loss. Since mid-August, pig prices in our province have basically remained stable. According to price monitoring, on September 1, the average retail price of pork, lean meat, and pork ribs in the province was 9.37 yuan, 12.32 yuan, and 13.68 yuan per 500 grams respectively, up 3.19%, 2.67%, and 3.09% month-on-month respectively; The year-on-year ratio of pork shipments rose by 2.40%, while lean meat and ribs fell by 5.80% and 0.36%, respectively.

Judging from the current production and purchase price of live pigs in our province, the market price of live pigs is still rising steadily.
