Cucumber production increase four strokes

1. Grafting and nursery. Canopy cucumber grafted seedlings can overcome continuous cropping obstacles, prevent root diseases, and promote root development, improve the ability of roots to withstand low temperatures, thereby enhancing plant resistance. The rootstocks suitable for grafting cucumbers include black-skin squash, Chinese squash, and Japanese hybrid squash. Grafting methods are often used for the grafting method or the grafting method. After grafting, pay attention to warming, moisturizing, and shading to increase the survival rate. The experiment showed that cucumber seedlings grafted with black-skinned squash as the rootstock did not cause cold damage within a week when the temperature in the greenhouse was lower than 6°C. The control effect of grafted seedlings on cucumber fusarium wilt is generally over 90%, and the total yield is more than 20% higher than that of self-rooted seedlings.

2. Put bees in the shed. Cucumber flowers are monoecious and insects are cross-pollinated. Although some species have strong parthenocarpy capacity, if there are no male flowers to provide pollen, many melon strips will not be fully developed and some will show malformed melons. Where conditions permit, bee colonies can be introduced into greenhouses to pollinate cucumbers. The effect of increasing production is obvious and the quality is greatly improved.

3. Apply rare earth. The rare earth, also called rare earth microelement fertilizer or rare earth nitrate, can be applied to cucumbers in greenhouses to promote photosynthesis, enhance the resistance of plants, and increase the adaptability of the seedlings to low temperature, high humidity, low light and other undesirable environments. The previous output increased by more than 40%, and the total output increased by 20%. Application method: 1 dressing. First 1-2 grams of rare earth dissolved in 1.5 kilograms of water, and then use a sprayer or a small watering can spray on the cucumber seeds, while spraying and mixing, dry sowing; 2 foliar spray. Use 10 grams of rare earth per acre, replenish the solution with a concentration of 0.03% to the water, first spray 1 time in the early flowering period, and then spray 1 time in 20 days or so.

4. Add carbon dioxide gas fertilizer. The application of carbon dioxide gas fertilizer is a new technology with significant increase in cucumber production in protected cultivation. The increase rate is generally around 30%.
