In mid-August, the average purchase price of meat chicken in Tongshan District was 11.6 yuan/kg, and the average purchase price of black-legged chicken was about 14 yuan/kg, which was 20.83% and 22.8% higher than the normal price level. Affected by the increase in purchase prices, the retail price of meat chickens in the live poultry market in the surrounding areas on August 19 was 13.2 yuan/kg, and black-legged chickens were 18 yuan/kg.

Second, the cost of raising chickens and feedstuffs raises the cost of breeding

It is understood that the recent increase in the cost of broiler farming is significantly affected by two factors: First, the price of chickens has increased significantly. According to farmers, before and after the Spring Festival this year, the chicken market is relatively sluggish, with 0.7 yuan per chicken and only 1.9 yuan per black leg chicken. The market conditions improved in April and the price of chickens rose gradually. In the normal year, the prices of the two kinds of chicks were 1.3 yuan/yuan and 2.7 yuan/yuan respectively. On August 18th, the chicken seedlings and black-legged chicken seedlings in Tongshan District were 2 yuan/yuan and 3.4 yuan/dollar, respectively. The average price of normal prices rose by 0.7 yuan/set, an increase of 53.85% and 25.93% respectively, setting a new high in recent years. The second is that the increase in the price of chicken feed drives the increase in feeding costs. The average daily chicken feed (Tanpu 8510 feed) was 3,430 yuan/ton, and the chicken feed (Tianpu 8511 feed) was 3,380 yuan/ton, an increase of 55 yuan/ton from the average price level in the first half of 2014. . The increase in feed prices was mainly due to the continued rise in the price of corn. In the first quarter of this year, the price of corn was relatively stable and the purchase price was around RMB 2.2/kg. Since April, the price of corn has gradually increased. The purchase price of corn in June was 2.4 yuan/kg, which rose to about 2.6 yuan/kg in mid-July. In August, the corn purchase price was about 2.6-2.8 yuan/kg, which was 27.27% higher than the normal price level. Third, the Mid-Autumn National Day is approaching.
